About Two Balls

This is my personal knitting company born out of a combined love for fiber arts and education. I’ve been knitting since 2007: for myself, for friends, under desks, in therapy, as therapy, during lectures, through joy, and chaos (a.k.a. grad school). There’s something deeply satisfying about turning a single strand of yarn into something beautiful and useful. It grounds me, challenges me, brings me joy, and I want to share that feeling with anyone ready to pick up some needles.

My Two Balls project started as a way lower the learning curve for new knitters while earning a little extra income. Though that's still my main objective, This has been a self-taught learning process about web design, UI/UX, branding, SEO, website analytics, and advertising/lead generation while honing in on my outreach strategy.

I'm giving myself space to figure out what works and what needs to change. I have dependent and independent variables, pages with different types of media, clickable links, and data to show visitor behavior. It's a free-spirited experiment without the pressure of it being my sole source of income, and I’m excited to see where it goes!
